Hi Carl,
This is great blog! I came across your name via David Wilcox and the Social By Social Ning site. Community Voices is a group on the Social By Social site, and having watched David’s social reportings with yourself and Rob Gray I was really interested to read more about what you’re doing with Devon County Council, and personally.
Rather than explain all the details in a long email, I wanted to chat further with you about Community Voices (www.mediatrust.org/communityvoices). In a sentence, it’s about making a difference to disadvantaged and isolated communities through digital media. Community groups will be able to apply for a grant in January, so we’re keen to get the message out to communities, particularly those that are offline, which I hope you can help with?
I’d also like to explore ways in which we can support each other, promote ideas and content. We’ve just published a research paper which you may find interesting (http://www.mediatrust.org/communityvoices/research-report/).
