I am on facebook, but I very much reserve this space for family, friends and occasionally colleagues who I have met in person.
Please don’t take offence if I don’t connect with you on facebook and we haven’t yet met, you can always connect with me on LinkedIn or Twitter.

Glad that you are on fb and G+ all helpful for SEO etc. And you are well within you rights to to include people that you do not know, I do not think you need to apologize up front about that but can see why you have done. Love following you on Twitter, keep up the great work.
